Restaurant Guide

Wondering where to eat in Fremont County? This is only my humble opinion, but check it out..

Italian:

DiRito's (231 Main St) Good home town Italian food locally owned and operated. If you are willing to try something new and different try the Santa Fe Pasta, ohh so good!

Papa's Italian Restaurant (132 W Main St, Florence) Good pizza and fun atmosphere. Living in Florence, I love having a local pizzaria.

American:

Mugs (1520 Royal Gorge Blvd) American food with locally sourced meat from Scanga Meats. One of a kind pancakes that melt in your mouth. Great breakfasts, a coffee bar and a sports bar! Fun for the whole family. The sweet potato fries are a must try!!

Bikes and Brews (224 Main St) Great outdoor patio and beer garden.  Check out their selection of Colorado craft beer. They also rent out bikes.

Whitewater Bar and Grill (45045 US Hwy 50) Voted #1 Bar and Grill 10 years running. Western style bar and grill with indoor and outdoor music, sand volleyball, horseshoes, and island inspired courtyard.

My Sisters Place (19 CR 3A) Great atmosphere and views of the mountains. Try their steak salad and you won't be disappointed!

Burgers:

The Owl (626 Main St) Great retro place to grab a burger and one of the best chocolate malts in town! Prices are phenomenal! Burgers are served wrapped in paper. Definetly worth checking out. This is my In-N-Out of Colorado.

Big Burger World (1205 S. 9th) Emphasis on the word big at this place, they have burgers that cover the whole plate! Great burgers and shakes. Outside dining only and a great place to take the kids.

Pizza:

Pizza Madness (509 Main St) Filled with original artwork from local artists. Great pizza, sandwiches, salads and atmosphere. Fun place for kids!

Mexican:

El Alazan (1925 Fremont Dr.) Good Mexican food. My whole family loves their Colorado burrito. Try their Horchata, a Mexican non-alcoholic beverage.

El Caporal (1028 Main St) Excellent margaritas!  Good food, great salsa, and friendly atmosphere.

Breweries:

I keep saying I'm going to try both of these but I haven't had a chance yet. They both have excellent reviews.

Florence Brewing Company (200 S. Pikes Peak Ave. Florence)

World's End Brewing Company (401 Main St)

Japanese Steakhouse/Sushi:

Ito's Japanese Steakhouse Sushi & Thai (114 W Main St) My favorite restaurant!! I love their food! The meat is so fresh and tender! The service is always good and the mojitos are awesome. And....the sushi is delicious too!

Steakhouse:

Quincy's Steak and Spirits (121 W Main St, Florence) Excellent prime rib and filets. Depending on the night your option is either prime rib or filet, there is no menu. Great place to get excellent meat at affordable prices!
